What is Meditation
Meditation is a mind and body practice that has a long history of use for increasing calmness and physical relaxation, improving psychological balance, coping with illness, enhancing overall health and well-being.
Meditation effectively reduces stress, alleviating the mind of mental chatter, racing thoughts, overthinking, overwhelm, self-doubt, anxiety and insomnia. It can help you feel more awake throughout the day, sleep through the night, focus at work, stay calm under pressure, make better decisions and perform better.
The practice of meditation doesn’t have to be linked to any specific religion, belief or lifestyle - it is a neutral tool. The principles are scientifically validated and can be practically applied by anyone. Furthermore, meditation is routinely used by some of the world’s most successful executives and entrepreneurs, such as Oprah Winfrey, Ray Dalio, Arianna Huffington, Rupert Murdoch and Marc Benioff.

What is Yoga
Yoga is an ancient and complex mind and body practice, rooted in Indian philosophy. It involves physical postures (asanas), meditation (dhyana), and breathing techniques (pranayama) to promote mental, emotional, social and physical well-being. It’s a practice that is designed to cultivate health and happiness, and a greater sense of self-awareness and higher consciousness. Yoga is an approach to life that values appropriate effort, based on balance and harmony, within each person and with each other.
There are many different styles of yoga. I aim towards a balance between strength and relaxation. I teach my own styles of vinyasa, hatha and yin yoga. I would like my students to be able to experience the power of what yoga can offer, and feel at ease with being just who and on what level they are. Each practice will unfold differently and each person is unique. There is no right or wrong here. It’s all about finding something that works for you.

Yin Yoga is a slower-paced, more meditative version of Yoga. The practice consists of relaxing long held ground postures, to stimulate and balance the flow of chi (energy) in the connective tissues of the body. Through passive movement, your connective tissue, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia, will lengthen and strengthen. We come into a posture slowly and put the body under temporary distress. We find an appropriate edge, where the body can remain for a while. This challenging and meditative practice can be very transformative, creating a deep sense of calm and encouraging us to release and let go. All levels are welcome.
My Story
My name is Marina and my goal is to provide access to meditation and yoga, allowing people to experience what’s going on in their body and especially what’s going on in their mind.
Discovering meditation and mindfulness changed my life in a very positive and exciting way, impacting every single aspect of it. Meditation has made me much more aware of my thoughts, of who I am and what I want, of what makes me happy and what I struggle with.
My meditation and mindfulness journey began in 2016. Communication consultant by background, I worked in different kinds of organizations, including stressful, target-oriented environments. It became clear that I needed a tool to manage my mental health. Following thorough self-study, I completed a course of formal personalized Initiation into Neelakantha Meditation with Ezgi Fisher in 2018. In 2019, I decided to create a platform and leverage my knowledge to help others empower their lives. I therefore completed a Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher Training.
Since meditation is the highest form of yoga, I also completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2019, an additional 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in 2021, and a 40-hour Yoga for Cancer Teacher Training in 2022, all accredited by Yoga Alliance.
Meditation & Yoga are my passion and I’d love to share it with whomever has an interest in uncovering the amazing power of our mind.
